Surgery to loss weight (robotic procedure)

Your doctor may offer robotic bariatric surgery if you have extreme obesity and have been unable to lose weight. The mouth, oesophagus, stomach, small intestine, and large intestine make up your digestive system, often known as the gastrointestinal tract. To help you break down the food you eat, your pancreas, liver, and gallbladder pump digestive juices into your small intestine. If you are unable to lose weight and keep it off through diet and exercise alone, have a body mass index (BMI) of more than 40, have a BMI of more than 35 and a life-threatening condition such as heart disease or diabetes, or weigh more than 100 pounds over your ideal body weight (IBW), your doctor may recommend bariatric surgery.   Bariatric surgery helps you lose weight by reducing the size of your stomach, which allows you to eat less and feel full faster.
